Personal culture: influences and evolution & history and context. Activity that asks what you do when you have a cold, and who told you that. Cough syrup is not good for children because you want them to cough things up. People feel guilty if they are not doing something about an illness, people feel bad if they are not using medications, or give stem cells. It is believed that demography is destiny, demographic change is reality, and demographic sensitivity is imperative. Has an influence on how your values and beliefs are shaped. It is a pattern of behaviors, we frequently see the same things. 2- beneficence (to do good)/ non- maleficence (i personally value life) Culture awareness: acceptance and understanding that there are other cultures. K(cid:374)o(cid:449)i(cid:374)g that (cid:455)ou do(cid:374)"t have the only culture, and knowing that there are different cultures within cultures. Cultural sensitivity: appreciating the differences amongst cultures, and accepting and understanding the differences.
