Rising ocean levels among the biggest concern: islands, coastal cities, etc. When water is a few degrees warmer it leads to tropical storms: the projection is that the instance of them will increase. Ocean acidi cation: the ocean is becoming less basic, worrisome effect on sea life who are adapted to a speci c ph, shells could bubble and dissolve. Uneven distribution of effects: some regions will have drought, some will have too much rain, could get hot - heat related illnesses, etc. Concentration of co2 in the atmosphere has increased signi cantly since the pre- industrial period. Some websites out there that here"s no worry/problem. They use true statements taken out of context to be misleading. Some people say co2 is not a pollutant: true in the sense that if there were no greenhouse gasses at all, we wouldn"t be here.
