The palace of justice a court yard where the king has a quote of justice: socrates and euthyphro meet up, socrates is eliged to have corrupted someone. He said my father had to slaves, he freed one of the slaves. Put one of his slaves in a ditch and sent a message to authorities to figure out what he should do. The temperature drops overnight and the slave dies overnight from exposure: family of the slave wanted to charged euthyphro"s father with murder. Euthyphro wanted to charged his father with murder: law see"s parent-child relationships as special/ different, spouse cannot be forced to testify against you if you"re charged with a crime. Recognition of a special relationship in the law: euthyphro thinks what his father did was unjust, unmoral and wrong, socrates says to him, look charging your own father is a huge act. You must have certain knowledge about what justice and goodness is to charge your own father.
