Bipolar (manic-depressive psychosis: patient sings from one extreme to the other (1%, about 10 episodes of each state during life, untreated, each phase can last months, rapid cycler (20%) 4 or more swings per year but some people shift daily (incredibly rare) Mania: problem, mild, maybe not, mental high gear, jumps from one thing to another, unable to sit still, jumps from unbounded elation to intense irritation, acute form.
