Eg: healthy behs are difficult to perform. Eg: more difficult to take stairs than: unhealthy behs are too easy to perform. smoking immediately rewarded with good sensation. taking elevator. Become a habitual part of lifestyle: difficult to change. Eg: takes several weeks to notice change in weight when jogging: no immediate incentive for engaging in healthy behs, no immediate incentive for not engaging in unhealthy behs.
