Children"s problems must be considered in relation to multiple levels of influence - individual, family, community, and culture: factors may be contained w/in child or at various distances from child"s immediate surroundings. Always multiple factors: individual, family, community, culture that impact the present patient. Possible causes of a child"s behavior: biological influences, emotional influences, behavioral and cognitive influences, family, cultural, and ethnic influences.
