Our attitudes and feelings towards our genitals: people mostly have positive genital self-image, having a negative genital self-i(cid:373)age (cid:373)ay (cid:374)egati(cid:448)ely affe(cid:272)t (cid:373)e(cid:374)"s a(cid:374)d (cid:449)o(cid:373)e(cid:374)"s sexual well-being. There is no evidence that this kind of surgery results in sexual enhancement or that these procedures are safe. Can be classified into two categories; external organs and internal organs. External organs: clitoris, mons pubis, the inner lips, the outer lips, the vaginal opening; collectively they are known as the vulva, the clitoris. A highly sensitive organ in the female, the glans is found in front of the vaginal entrance and the rest of the clitoris extends deeper into the body. Consists of the tip; a knob of tissue situated externally in front of the vaginal opening; the urethral opening, a shaft consisting of two corpora cavernosa, and two crura. Homologous to the male"s penis; both develop from the same embryonic tissue.
