People with the most negative (disgust, anger, anxiety) emotional responses to pornography had the most children?: sexual emotions: intense, characteristic, generalized, and consequential. When trying to unlock the secret of why this is, the observation was that sexual emotions are intense. It is easy to intensely sexually arouse people in the lab. Sexual emotions, they are characteristic of individuals (people dispositionally and in a trait like fashion may be very positive in their emotional responses to sex or be characteristically negative to sexual cues, disgusted, angrymost people are in the middle) If we have a positive emotional response to explicit sexuality, we will probably have a fairly positive response to peripheral sexual cues, even though it is only an indistinct sexual cue. It will be hard to look after your sexual health if you have a negative, uncomfortable response to sex.
