Werner experiment: at some point people will know the right answer and there will be bias. When you plot the results of werner"s experiment on a graph. Y axis: p(y)--- probability yes you see the disk, x axis: interstimulus interval (isi). Curve would look like starting at 100%, then halfway there"s a large dip, then returns to 100%. You"ll perceive both things, but can you remember what letters were there: so, there will be a slight increase after the dip, but not back to 100% like with. Wednesday, november 2, 2016: they had a number of different conditions in their experiments, and in this case it was a circle. One of the other ones was a cross-hatched (in the inside) circle. In this case, short isi, you"re not way up there in the graph, but they block each other out by blending and you can"t see what letter was there.
