Genetics: monozygotic concordance rate = 48, polygenic, not one, but many different genes involved in developing schiz, produces varying degree of vulnerability across individuals --> can have severe, moderate or low amount of symptoms. Receptors?- unclear: other neurotransmitters: norepinephrine, glutamate, serotonin, gaba.
