Trauma ususally helps within the family the parents trigger. Neglect- failure to response to the child"s basic needs. Physical ( tell the kids not back home- this is not meeting the needs for shelter) Educational needs (if a child is defined as the leaening disability , the parent refuse to provide help or seek out services --- also in emotional nglect) Emotional neglect--- if parents find their 11 year old get drunk or get high but think it is fine. Incident are all new cases in a specific time. Physical punishment with spoons, belts , shicks and broom handles , several abusive fathers spoke of being forced into ovens, freezers and under furniture as punishment. One abusive father describe: i remember strawberry shortcake , i don"t eat it. But i was forced to eat dog shit instead. Lock in the room with no pee break. Other fathers described severe neglect and isolation experiences.
