Social or wage hierarchies differ by gender and sexual orientation heterosexual men, homosexual men, heterosexual women, straight women; in order of pay. The only surveys that ask questions about sexual orientation are about health. Surveys need to be really big because of the percent of lgbtq2+ Gay and lesbian sort themselves into gender a-typical occupations. Heterosexual men have their earnings go up when they have a child where as heterosexual women"s wages go down. Audit studies- sending in two different resumes implying that one is heterosexual and the other is homosexual.
