Schools as agents of change: literacy has changed from the 3rs, cultural literacy, scientific, computer, technology, television electronic, information, education slow to change, students want power point, scary to do new technology, diversity of culture, all inclusive environment, issues of race, in advertising. Impact of globalization: what taught in history was very limited, race, should you hire a white person to teach about race and ethnicity, class, sometimes people don"t even realize how privileged they really are, especially if you are a white younger male, and ses, gender, sexual orientation.
