Both gender and class are some of the factors behind gender inequality. Women are still underrepresented in the work force. Women are still paid less than men. Women are more concentrated in specific jobs (i. e. teaching, nursing, etc) Sexuality: feelings of sexual attraction, preferences, interests and behaviours related to them. Ex: o sex: younger, outside of marriage: gay, lesbian relationships more acceptable, a decreasing double standard. Sexual identity: a broad term that can include our masculinity or femininity (our society recognizes only these two alternatives) our knowledge of our bodies (function, pleasure, pain) our sexual histories, and our sexual orientations and preferences. Homosexuality: individuals who are romantically and/or sexually attracted to members of the same sex. Heterosexuality: individuals who are attracted to and/or engage in sexual activity with members of the opposite sex. Bisexuality: individuals who are romantically and/or sexually attracted to both men and women.
