Class struggle between bourgeoisie & proletariat is necessary to create social change. Social change occurs when the proletariat rises against the bourgeoisie & will become the dominant group in society creating an ideal classless society under communism. Classless society under communism based on total differentiation. Total differentiation means that each person is valued for his or her uniqueness & individuality. As a result, all social categories, social roles & division of labour will end. Each person will do what he or she likes without being labeled in terms of social roles or categories. In marx & engels work, you can hunt, fish or read without being called a hunter, fisher or literary critic as everyone would work at jobs that meet their own interests, talents & skills: work becomes a reward.
