X: a fabulous child"s story: written by lois gould (1931-2002) who was a journalist and ction writer, rst published in 1972, exploration of our cultural xation of gender. X goes to school: what were some problems that x encountered at school, x liked being itself (p6). Why did other parents have issues with that: children recognized that x was not interested in winning and losing but rather doing all activities. It was perfectly normal, therefore we don"t need gender role. Gender policing: consider the recent scandal involving hacking of celebrity phones, naked images of female celebrities were stolen, sold and uploaded to the internet. Tuesday, september 23, 2014: prominent argument seems to be that they should not have taken naked photos in the rst place.
