Women"s studies 1021: reading notes - sept. 18th. Diva article: how gentleman jack changed my life. Discusses the feelings of a lesbian women after the finale of the show gentleman jack. The show is about the love story of anne lister and her lover that occurred long ago. The author was deeply saddened when the show ended and she discusses the ways in which this affected her life and how she dealt with it. She wrote out her thoughts helped tremendously to give clarity to what she was thinking/feeling. She joined a fb group helped to see that she wasn"t alone and the impact the show had on others. On the surface it seems somewhat silly to be this obsessed with a show (in my opinion at least) but once she delves into it, it begins to make more sense.
