Purpose: gender equity in every program in the united states. Male counterparts have almost 2:1 the opportunity to participate in sports. In division i schools, female athletes receive 28% total money in the athletic budget. Pre-title 9 over 90% of the coaches of women"s athletic teams were women; however only 48% of coaches of women"s teams are women.
