self-concept, trait, motive
- Personal Branding
what differentiates you from other candidates - YOU are a Brand
personal branding is what people say about you when you leave the room
(your first impression on people)
ex. Tiger Woods - personal brand, bad image = bad brand
- net worth is 700 million today and less than 10% from winning
tournaments in golf - his brand is his income
your image is your brand and it stays forever - your image must reflect your
company or brand, your image is accessible 30 years from now
- partying pics do not match with RBC but might match with Molson
What Does This Mean To YOU?
- Give yourself a personal brand
- Be a social media A.C.E
- Resumes
1 spelling mistake and it will be thrown in the trash - spend time
average time looking over a resume is 5-7 seconds
