Two typical approaches: conflict disrupts provision of education. Second one is that education can prevent conflict. Overwhelmingly belief that education leads to peace. Mandela: education is the most powerful tool in the world. We"ve too often looked at how schooling can do the opposite: contribute to conflict. Draw more attention and funding to education not away from it.
