Approximately 1 million people die by suicide each year (globally) Suicide attempt are significantly more frequent but there is no reliable data to confirm exact. Approximately 1 out of 4 people knows someone who has committed suicide. 8/10 people who attempt suicide or who die from suicide or made some mention of their plans. Suicide is thought to be a process not an event. Most people who commit suicide gave some or even many indications of their intentions. People do no necessarily want to die, rather they want the pain to end. Stress and related problems cost canadian businesses over billion/year. Needs to be controlled in a positive manner otherwise the outcomes can be detrimental. The physiological and psychological state of disruptions caused by the presence of an unanticipated, disruptive, or stimulating event.
