Individuals needed to make investments free from any monarch on what to manufacture and export. Being able to make decisions freely, to justify that they made democratic structures. From the british interpretation it came from the english civil war that wanted to tax property in order to pay for war which left them in debt. It is one way we can empower ourselves, a sense of self empowerment. Monarchy is seen as the best form of government. Aristotle says that the best democracy is to find the equilibrium.
