Theme parks and resorts: bertelsmann (only non american based, germany based) Television (rtl: sony corporation of america. Movies (sony pictures, columbia tristar, mgm-ua, orion. Video games: another big company is google, but its unique, doesn"t have its own movies etc. It"s a different company, primarily focuses on advertisements: the five filters. Advertising- what time of ads are shown. Sourcing- who do they talk to about world issues. Flak- criticism by powerful forces on media. Pro-market, everything that"s good for business is okay: myth of the liberal media. Media tells us what matters and who matters.
