The enhanced type (20%): divorce helped them focus on their strengths and develop themselves fully: 2. The component loners (10%): never remarried but led rather full and happy lives as single persons: 3. Good enough (40%): divorce was like a speed bump, but they were survivors and it didn"t negatively impact their lives: less than 1/3 o the adults (30%) felt their lives were more negatively affected by the divorce, 4. The seekers (13%) felt that remarriage brought them the security and meaning that they wanted in their lives: 5. The libertines (6%): coped by living life in the fast lane and not focusing on the past but enjoying the present: 6. The defeateds (11%): were most negatively affected and experienced poverty, depression, drug abuse and bitterness.
