60s and 70s there was a rise of the women"s movement and defined by the women as the second wave. Environmental movement began; greater awareness about pesticide and consequences of dtv and the impacts these chemicals had and on the eco system. Students demanding a democratic voice; us demand democratic voice; young people getting involved in the environmental and civil movements; 1968 all of these movements were active. May 1968 general strike and protest by students; it toppled the governments. The way in which people were thinking was in big terms. Another reason women"s experience in the suburbs; girls grew up watching their mothers who seemed very unhappy; daughters watching their mothers and carried. November 4 2014 their seeds into their won generation; isolation of the mothers, independent and unequal relationship, sense of unfulfillment lesson to their daughters. Image of the happy housewife was not real and did not want to continue to it.
