In the uk urban planner turned to le corbusier"s cities in the sky as a cheaper method of building public housing from the late 1950s. He harmonized and lent credence to the idea of space as a set of destination between which mankind moved continuously. He gave credibility to the automobiles as transporter based to freeways in urban spaces.
