Point: produce gametes (sperm, ovum); produced in the gonads (testes, ovaries); produced at different times depending on male and female. Genitalia: getting gametes close together (penis, vagina/ uterus; so you can deposit the gametes together fuse, form zygote, embryo and then foetus) Most of the reproductive organs are located in the pelvic cavity. Wide superior fan part: ilium; bottom posterior part: ischium; and bottom anterior part: pubis. Pelvis: bony basin connecting lower limb to trunk; made up of 2 hip bones; sacrum and coccyx. Each hip bone is made up of 3 bones fused together all fuse together to form the hip bone. Tuberosity: thick protruding area (sticks out) e. g. ischial tuberosity.
