Will now search for objects that are partially hidden or out of view, but on their body. Stage 4: 8 to 12 months coordination of secondary schemes. Recognizes certain signs associated with certain actions that follows the signs. Can use existing behaviors to solve problems. Can imitate movements of a model and corresponding movements of invisible parts of the body (e. g. , lips) Can imitate new actions of a model performs.
