Last two albums: abbey road (1969) and let it be (1970: jan. 2-31, 1969: get back project filming, twickenham, 2nd: beatles work on new film and album project, work title called get. The intention was that paul hoped they would get back to being a preforming band. Work on 7 new songs: 2 by john, 3 by paul, two by george: lots of tension, 30th: live concert on roof of the apple building, in london. Wanted to use this as the end of the film: 31st: filmed performances of let it be, the long and winding road, and two of us , throughout the month: tense (and endless) Decided they need a legit manager: john wants allen klein to manage them, paul wants lee eastman, neither budge ringo, john, and george have. Klein manage: paul hired eastman, feb. 22-aug. 25: recording at emi for abbey road, september 26, 1969: abbey road released in uk, april 10: breakup announced (by paul)
