Biggest because it"s the oldest and it"s for zeus. Participants are all aristocratic men: pythian games. Every 5th year but not the same year as the olympics. No monetary prize but home city-state gave victors presents: nemean games. Not officially pan-hellenic but open to all greeks. Valuable prize huge jug with lifetime supply of olive oil: victory odes winners hire poets to write poems about them. Pindar talks about the actual event. Sung and have a dance in front of the whole city-state. Meant to teach a lesson to the victor and the audience.
