More bureaucrats believe happening because mandate of heaven hasn"t picked another true king yet. 206 bce 220 ce: han dynasty (adopts confucianism) Han 206 bc - 220 ce. 3 kingdoms/6 dynasties/disunion 220 - 589 ce. Mandate of heaven delegates roles and each person must take theirs on. Popular during the qin dynasty: mohism. Love ultimately unites us all: legalism. Popular during the han dynasty: daoism. One must give themselves over to the world.
