Cannot bring mass of poor ppl to developed countries- limited. Lower barriers to migration learn language, pursue new opportunities. Brain drain barriers in immigration goes down and those that get higher education in developed country goes down less high skilled labor hurts development bc left with unskilled labor. Remittances send share of earnings to family back home, helps local economy because form of aid that is very targeted for specific purposes for ppl who need it for right reason. Rich ppl come to us to go to school and learn business, go back to country and start their own (kinda like trade); also good bc have connections to developed country where they studied. Increases connection between two countries as well as human capital and competency. Migration is good for people who move.
