History of philosophy: ancient philosophy, modern and european philosophy, contemporary issues. Socrates is a philosopher; who had the socratic method of verbal method. Most difficult problems: economics, nature, environment focuses on why no 1 method to solve problem problems of a higher level. Philosophers are knowledgeable people, educators, people who have curiosity, anybody can be a philosopher, everyone is a philosopher because we think about our future. Method of philosophy: to find our errors/mistakes, take them away and what remains is the truth; the final truth is never final. If you are human then you make mistakes. We can never escape our own mistakes. Socially impossible to make change: indirect vs direct in mythology, philosophy is more free and more open. The very first group of philosophers milesians.
