Document Summary

Chapter 21 part 6| cd8 cells, b cells, mechanisms of. Once cells have passed positive and negative selection, they will encounter an antigen presenting cell to be activated. Different combination of alpha and beta chains, random combination of locci give us 10 18 different t cells each with a different receptor. When the macrophages, b lymphocytes, t lymphocytes and mast cells encounter an antigen, the tlrs release cytokines. Cd4 once they become proliferated, become helpers, either t reg or t helper 1,2,17 cells. Cd8 once they become proliferated, become killer cytotoxic cells that can attack any cell in the body. Once the macrophages become stronger, they can produce bleach allowing them to destroy intracellular microorganisms more efficiently. They also activate b cells to produce strongly opsonizing antibodies. Produce cytokines that cause b cells to proliferate become plasma cells and produce antibodies.
