We use human nature as a term to say that we should live in a society that corresponds with our instinct. Society must suppress, reform to form a divine society in a religious sense. We usually say that human nature should be expressed (art, poetry, music) Ants go to war but war is a human institution. Anthropomorphism: the attribution of human characteristics or behavior to a god, animal, or object. As a reaction to 9/11 and war on terror. The type of power = queen bee. Anthropological aggression = failing to cite colleagues. What counts as an aggressive act has to do with the meaning behind it, not intrinsic value. It"s not that emotions mobilize human culture. Culture organizes the expression of human emotions. Culture attributes emotional expression that"s behind it. These cultural forms train people to give expression to a certain aggressiveness. Is marriage the expression of innate sexual desire. An institution for the transmission of wealth, social status.
