Was not a hominid: review general time line in the book. Paleolithic, neolithic: ussher religious man that said world wasn"t that old, same species mean that you can reproduce with on another. Diachronic: historical view point, very linear, this is was historians use, this is what we use and archeologist use. Synchronic: points in time, slices of history, archeologists find things in this kind of time line, but then they try to fit it into a diachronic time scale in books so that we"ll understand it. Biological evolution: physical changes in a multicellular organism. Know ex: brain side in human, less sexually dimorphic (men and women are generally the same size), we walk bipedal, and we developed a culture. Their bones were preserved well so we can study all the families well. Darwin"s finches are the post popular example of biological evolution.
