The angel gabriel began to give him messages from god, not a god himself, he is a channel or a messenger. Unity of god: allah is understood to be absolute and one. Angels: heavenly creatures in service of god. Quran: holy scripture initiate with the first revelation to adam and completed with the last to muhammad. Definitive truth of reality that contains and affirms what we know of eternal reality. Prophets: adam, moses, jesus (recognized for being prophets not messias)
