Persistence- the things we post are automatically recorded and archived. Searchability- the content you put online can be accessed through search. Replicability- the online content can be duplicated and manipulate it. Scalability-the potential visibility of content is much greater. Invisible audiences- you might think it"s your followers, but everyone can see your posts. Collapsed contexts- social/professional contexts combine and you don"t really have control over separating them. Blurring of public and private- nothing is really private online. For every user your network gains, then the value of your network grows exponentially.
