Situations of disrupted livelihoods and threats to life produced by warfare, civil disturbance and large scale movements of people. When any emergency response has to be conducted in a difficult political and security environment. A natural phenomenon that can potentially trigger a disaster. Serious disruption of a community or a society causing wide spread human, material, economic or environmental losses which exceed beyond the capacity of the affected community to deal with the problem. For the disaster to be entered into the database at least one of the following criteria must be fulfilled: A community"s incapability to absorb the effects of a given change in its environment. Large pop"s are affected which can lead to suffering and displacement. Provision of basic human needs in a large scale public health emergency. Arrangements should be made to allow traditional rituals. Burial sites should be where it is both acceptable and possible.
