Where: he was a dominican in italy but then went to paris to study and profess. How: using logic and reason to show the truth of the church. Why: he believed there was no conflict between faith and reason: chivalry. What: code that demanded a knight fight bravely in defense of three masters: earthly feudal lord, the lord, and his chosen lady. The knight was also expected to protect the poor. How: knights went through a long education process which involved learning skills and serving other knights. They would first be pages who were educated.
