Many people that write about dependency theory are from latin america. Dependence: the economy of one country is reliant on another counties economy to be expanding . can"t be self sustaining. Imperialism: process of expansion of the imperialist centers and of their world domination. Underdeveloped country are underdeveloped because they either don"t modernize or too slow, admits it"s a capilitist way of thinking. Inorder to make something you first must have all the parts. Top countries have trade relations=finances that benefit themselves with receiving interest/taxes from the depended countries. Combined development- combination of limits and transfer of goods from dependent countries to top independent countries. Dominate economic relations and how they expand outward. Economic relations between the top country and the other dependent country and how it relates to the international economy. People doing all the work were exploited-could not consume goods.
