About 60,000 barrels: because of this we can be seeing gas prices rise, some gas stations are already out of gas in sc and georgia. What is structural geology: structural geology. A specific field of geology that focuses on the deformation of rocks after they have been formed. Geologic structures: geographic features vs geologic features. Geologic features doesn"t mean hills and other visible land formations. The cracks, bends, and folds of a rock. Features you see on a top-down map of the land. Tectonic forces: rocks are deformed by applied forces, 3 types, tensional force. Pulling in opposite directions trying to stretch the parts in two different directions at the same time: compressional force. Pushing inwards from two sides: shearing force.
