Avoidance conflict: floating along, not wanting to contribute, won"t care about the problem. Accommodation: just roll with what people want to do, you just give in thinking that it is better and helpful to group. Competition: high concern for your own goals, low concerns about your group"s goals. Compromise: concern for group and themselves, most even of them all. Collaboration: high concern for your own goals as well as the group"s goals, a lot of time for discussions, everyone give their pitch for ideas. What is the reason for the cause of the conflict: reactions. How are group members reacting to one another: results. What are the consequences of the group"s current result to the conflict: resolutions. What are the available resources to solving the conflict. Aeiou vowel method: assume the other members mean well, express your feelings, identify what you would like to happen, outcome you expect are made clear, understand that you have a mutual understanding.
