Document Summary

A slippery slope is an illogical assumption that entering a first step will eventually lead us into something we do not like. -the fallacy in slippery slope is that it includes unjustified assumptions where some outcomes are not logical or reasonable. First step leads to (or causes) second step. Ex; r rated movies will expose you to violence where you will learn to commit actual crimes that will put you in custody. The fallacy here is that violence from movies do not control (for many) the individual"s ability to exhibit real violent crimes. Considering that the two concepts are the same or does not exist at all. Claims are vague and does not address grey areas between the concepts making it sound illogical. Ex; be generous in tipping at the restaurant or your server will not serve you. It"s like stealing their time and that"s no different from forced servitude.
