I propose to research my project on how cell phone addiction affects young adults. When it comes to cell phone overuse it can affect teens socially, their psychological well-being and health. Some people are replacing face-to-face conversations with cybernetic ones. Others even pretend to talk on the phone or fiddle with apps to avoid eye contact or other interactions at a party. To so many people they use their phone as an escape from their insecurities/problems. This change in style from face-to-face to text- based conversation is extremely relevant in today"s generation. There is also some evidence supporting the claim that excessive mobile phone use can cause or worsen health problems. Germs are everywhere, and considering the number of times people interact with their cell phone under different circumstances and places, germs are very likely to transfer from one place to another.
