Social reproduction is the fleshy, messy, and indeterminate stuff of everyday life social reproduction encompasses daily and long term reproduction, both of the means of production and the labor power to make them work. It doesn"t reproduce itself within the realm of production but. All the stuff that is necessary to make and construct products. Social reproduction says that in order for this realm of production to continue, both labor power and the means of production have to be reproduced. More workers keep the factories going and running. When a society simultaneously withdraws public support for social reproduction and conscripts the chief providers of it into long and grueling hours of paid work, it depletes the very social capacities on which it depends . The idea that there are entire systems and economies and people who provide care but they themselves have no care. Depletion of the very social bodies that we depend on.
