Encounters of war in mundane ways (toys, products, portrayals of u. s. enemies) They matter and are doing particular things in shaping the ways that we as civilians imagine the war. The way the world is contextualized among shared groups and individuals. For geographers, the way spaces (often far away) are scripted and imbued with meaning. Bikini island is part of the marshall islands negatively affected by nuclear bombs. Just a silly example of the way of how these mundane practices influence our ideas of greater and broader events or ideas. Scripted this place as empty and paradise . Scripting of places in political cartoons that instill the ideas that government, businesses and officials want to portray/spread. Mundane everyday activities expand these ideals and codes. In places like hawaii and guam, geopolitical codes influence how people interact and impact the very real everyday lives of these people in these places.
