Treat phobia of rabbits by paring rabbits with candies: disgust reaction. Cs associated with disgusting ucs will elicit disgust cr. Acquiring behaviors as a result of the outcome or consequence of those behaviors. The organism gets something out of the response. E. g. the trainer uses biscuit as a treat to teach a dog to sit. Reward is independent of what the organism does. Good for learning physiological and emotional responses. Response emitted in a seemingly voluntary fashion.
