SAG 285 Lecture Notes - Lecture 2: Doubleclick
Document Summary
Before we begin modeling, we should start organizing our layers to make our lives easier. In the main toolbar, open up the layer explorer. Right now, all of our references are under the default layer, and anything we make in the future will be under this layer because it is the only one we have. To make a new layer, click the plus sign with the three yellow squares in front of it. Open the default layer and highlight the three objects in it. Drag and drop those objects into the new layer you just created. Make another layer and name it helmet interior. Make sure (cid:494)show frozen in gray(cid:495) is turned off under display properties. This will prevent us from accidentally selecting the reference images when we begin modeling. If the back reference image is in the way, highlight it in the layer. Explorer and click on the eye next to the name.
