Platform: the means of delivering a specific piece of media content. Movie producers having to take into account people watching their movies on a small iphone vs a large movie screen. Industries in transition: huge changes in media consumerism due to technological changes. Movie attendances have become flat, either due to not good enough movies or changes in technology. Movies that are safe enough to get a profit. Album sales have dropped vs. individual songs increasing.
